Spirit Liberia, founded in 2007 by Greg and Vanessa Bogdan, was established to revive the heart and soul of the Liberian people. Liberia has been devastated by almost twenty years of war, and has a long road to recovery. Hope is available, but hard to come by.

Our desire is to reach out to these desperate but beautiful people. These people want help, they want hope, they want to know that the future can be bright for their children. With the spiritual depravity that has come with the devastation of war, it is absolutely imperative that we show them the truth of the gospel so that their hope can be grounded in Christ.

Through agricultural sustainability projects such as vegetable farming, fish farming, animal husbandry, and forestry, the people of Liberia can learn to work hard and help themselves. The financial stability that these projects will bring to the communities and tribal areas can also show the hope of Christ to the entire community as our team is able to show hands on compassion to them.

We believe in not only meeting the physical needs but also the spiritual needs of the people of Liberia. We are accomplishing this mission through many different avenues including but not limited to street evangelism, prison ministry, church development, pastoral training, church conference support, and discipleship programs.
